To complete a minor in psychology, the student takes 21 hours--usually seven courses--in psychology. In meeting this requirement, students may take any psychology courses for which they have the prerequisites. Only three hours of credit ear­ned in PSYCH 440 or 740 Topics in Psychology and only three hours of credit earned in PSYCH 592 Applied Re­search Methods will be counted in the 21-hour minor.

   Psychology faculty will advise students concerning psychology courses appropriate for specific majors.
